18th May saw NatWest‘s second primary school visit by senior management to The Baird Primary Academy in Hastings. The purpose of the visit was to attend the Breakfast Club which is put on for the children and their parents by the school through funding received from NatWest.
The Breakfast Clubs are a great way to ensure young school children receive the most important meal of the day and it also engages the parents as well. The NatWest staff enjoyed chatting to the children while they tucked into their bananas and toast.
The NatWest Regional Manager and his team as well as local branch management were treated to a special school assembly where the Headteacher explained to the children how the bank had helped provide their much valued Breakfast Club. The school were then presented with their large cheque and the children were given goody bags.
NatWest also brought along their mobile bank for the children to explore. On board they could play a specially designed children’s banking game on a tablet, learn all about what banks do and how their secret mobile bank safe works from the specialist team on board.
As NatWest‘s corporate event photographer, the mobile bank shots were the most challenging due to ensuring only children whose parents had given consent were photographed within the tight space but the children loved learning about the mobile bank so I ended up with some engaging shots of them.
