Enza & James – London Wedding Photographer

Themed weddings are always fun to photograph. Enza & James chose a 1920s theme for their marriage at the Battersea Arts Centre (BAC) in London. With its carpeted booths at the top of the ornate staircase and exposed-bulb lighting criss-crossing the large, rustic Council Chamber, The BAC is a quirky venue just south of the river which seemed perfect for an art deco-inspired day.

Both musicians, Enza & James stamped their creativity across their day, decorating the venue with vintage knick-knacks including Charleston dance hall flyers, pearls and feathers, and littering the tables with jars of old-school sweets. The energetic King Candy & The Sugar Push, a fabulous four-piece swing band kick-started the dance-fuelled reception which lasted into the early hours and entailed a family breakdancing battle, an en-masse rendition of Gangnam Style and the trousers of an usher’s hired suit requiring a needle and thread.

Like I said, it was fun.
