I first met Charlotte & Aaron a few years ago when I photographed their son Reilly’s Christening at St James’ Church in Abinger Common after their original photographer let them down. It seemed that they loved the results as they booked me a couple of years later to photograph their daughter’s Christening in the same church. So I was really chuffed when they asked me to be their wedding photographer the following year, again, at Abinger Common. It’s a real honour to photograph for a family over the years as you get to know the couple and see their lovely kids growing up.
Charlotte and her bridal party got ready at the Mandolay Hotel in Guildford and returned there for the reception after the ceremony in Abinger Common. Just after the ceremony, we stopped off at the rolling hills and woodland at Newlands Corner for their ‘couple shoot’. Unfortunately we weren’t able to have a stroll around like I’d planned as the heavens opened, but we managed to create a few bridal shots after the rain calmed.
Charlotte, Aaron and their friends and family know how to have fun and their reception was full of amusing speeches, a 2nd first dance with full groom vocals, line-dancing and a karaoke-off between Aaron and his groomsmen and Charlotte and her bridesmaids. Legends.
