Portrait photography has been one of the areas hit hard by COVID-19. So it was great to finally get back out there after 6 months of Daddy-daycare to shoot some portraits for Louise of Florriana Candles.
I met Louise at the entrance to Reigate castle grounds. She wanted to use the beautiful gardens to give a colourful backdrop to her portraits. Who knew such a pretty and tranquil setting was just a moment’s stride from Reigate high street?
Louise wanted a couple of images for her About page on her forthcoming new website. One of her with the product and a relaxed portrait of her looking off-camera.
We therefore settled for the main gardens as the gardeners had trimmed back most of the flowers for Autumn. There were however still some lovely flowers in bloom to give the images the desired pop of colour.
Louise was great to work with, knew exactly what she wanted and didn’t really need any direction from me. So if you’re partial to a scented candle and are looking to support a local new startup, keep an eye out for Florriana Candles.
