As a Surrey wedding photographer, I photograph at several golf clubs and am humbled to be listed on the Altonwood Group‘s preferred suppliers list for weddings. Surrey National is one such venue and the clubhouse is set high above the 18th hole and makes for a great backdrop to the lake which awaits the end of a golfer’s round. It’s always a nice setting for couple photos.
When I first met Carly & Danny for their pre-wedding meeting at their house, I felt instantly welcomed, like an old friend visiting. And on their wedding day, their family and friends welcomed me in exactly the same way. We got on like a house on fire – laughing and joking together as if I was just another guest. It was great.
And so it was no surprise that family is important to Carly & Danny. Their son Albie was the ring-bearer, Danny’s son Vinny was Best Man alongside Danny’s brothers and Carly’s sisters were bridesmaids. There were some lovely family moments too – their kids joined in on their first dance and Carly and her Dad shared a Father and Daughter dance shortly afterwards.
And then the tears were dried and the party was started. And they know how to party. All together. One big family.
